Lux Energy Solutions is a wholesale petroleum supplier providing bulk fuel and related petroleum products to businesses and other customers.

- Bulk diesel supply;
- Petroleum product procurement and supply;
- Mobile fuel delivery;
- Delivery coordination to customer sites;
- Supply of petrol, LP Gas, illuminating paraffin, hydraulic oil and lubricants; and
- Other petroleum-related services agreed with the customer.
All products and services are subject to availability, applicable regulations and the specific terms agreed between Lux Energy Solutions and the customer.
Quotations and Orders
All quotations are subject to availability and may be affected by changes in fuel prices, transportation costs, taxes, levies and other applicable charges.
A quotation does not constitute a binding sale unless accepted by Lux Energy Solutions and confirmed in writing.
Orders may be subject to minimum quantities, delivery requirements, credit approval and other commercial conditions.
Pricing and Payment
Prices will be communicated to the customer through a quotation, purchase order, invoice or other written confirmation.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment must be made according to the payment terms stated on the applicable invoice or quotation.
Lux Energy Solutions reserves the right to suspend or refuse further deliveries where an account is overdue or where agreed payment terms have not been met.
Delivery
We will make reasonable efforts to deliver products within the agreed delivery period. Delivery times may be affected by factors outside our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, supplier delays, vehicle availability, regulatory requirements or circumstances at the customer's premises.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is safe, accessible and suitable for the delivery of petroleum products.
The customer must provide accurate delivery information and ensure that an authorised representative is available to receive and verify the delivery where required.
Product Quality
Lux Energy Solutions sources petroleum products from reputable suppliers and takes reasonable steps to ensure that products supplied meet applicable quality requirements.
Customers must notify Lux Energy Solutions of any suspected product discrepancy or quality issue as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
Fuel Handling and Safety
Petroleum products are potentially hazardous and must be handled, stored and used in accordance with applicable legislation, safety requirements and manufacturer or supplier instructions.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their storage facilities, equipment and premises are suitable and compliant for receiving and storing petroleum products.
Lux Energy Solutions may refuse or suspend a delivery where conditions at a customer's premises present an unreasonable safety or compliance risk.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate information when requesting products or services;
- Provide safe and suitable access to delivery locations;
- Comply with applicable laws and safety requirements;
- Use petroleum products only for lawful purposes;
- Make payments when due; and
- Notify Lux Energy Solutions promptly of any delivery, quantity or product-related concerns.
Cancellation
Cancellation of an order may be subject to reasonable costs already incurred by Lux Energy Solutions, including procurement, transportation, administration or other third-party costs.
Where an order has already been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.
Specific cancellation terms may be agreed in writing for individual contracts or supply arrangements.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lux Energy Solutions will not be liable for indirect, consequential or special losses arising from delays or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under South African law.
Force Majeure
Lux Energy Solutions will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, civil unrest, supplier disruptions, transportation disruptions, government action, regulatory changes, fuel shortages or other unforeseen events.
